[symbianize] Seasons Wallpaper Pack HD

Hey guys! Check out this new set of HD wallpapers I've made...again for the people of the community I love (right, you know it already). Nobody forced me to do these so basically you don't have the right to complain! Hehe, just kidding, but yeah, no technical support available for this one. Original concept and design by me, except for the "S" Symbianize logo which is of course, designed by the person who made it (I don't know who, but thanks!)...

The theme for this collection is the four seasons.

I made three versions for each season, the only difference is the texts and emblem at the right side. The picture below shows what I am trying to tell. :-)

Tag-ulan [Tagalog]

Panahon na naman ng tag-ulan at ng mga kasama nito: landslide, baha, basa, sipon, ubo, lagnat, sirang payong, sirang pananim, luging palaisdaan, tumutulong bubong, at ang pinakainaabangan ng mga bata – WALANG PASOK! YEY!!!

Dahil sakop ng tag-ulan sa Pinas ang simula ng klase (Hunyo), madami sa ating mga naging estudyante ang maraming karanasan at ala-ala tuwing panahon ng tag-ulan. At dahil din blog ko ito, ibabahagi ko yaong akin… :D

Noong bata ako (bago ako pumasok sa mababang paaralan) madalas akong malungkot kapag umuulan. Hindi makapaglaro sa labas, hindi makapanghuli ng tutubi, hindi makasungkit ng bayabas, hindi makapagpiko o holen kasama ang mga pinsan. Gusto kong subukin maglaro sa ulan kagaya ng mga pinsan ko subalit mahina ang aking katawan at ako’y hikain kaya mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ng aking mga magulang. Pero nakakahanap pa rin naman ako ng mga bagay na makakalibang sa aking musmos na pag-iisip kagaya ng pagguhit o minsa’y paggawa ng bangkang papel na ipinaaanod sa gilid ng bahay kapag umuulan.

Nang ako ay pumasok na sa mababang paaralan, madalas ako inaabutan ng malakas na ulan at baha sa may pasukan ng paaralan ng aming barangay. Hindi pa uso traysikel sa amin noong mga panahong yun kaya lakad lang papasok at papauwi kahit na umuulan. Gayunpaman, pag-uwi sa hapon nag-aantay sa bahay ang pamalit na damit at mainit na sabaw na inihanda ng nanay. Isa sa di ko malilimutang mga ala-ala ng tag-ulan sa mababang paaralan ay ang mabangong amoy ng hangin kapag umaraw sa hapon matapos ang malakas na ulan.

Pagkatapos ng elementarya ay hayskul, ako ay pumasok sa isang kilalang pampublikong mataas na paaralan na may kalayuan sa aming tahanan. Kinakailangan kong bumiyahe ng isang oras para makarating sa paaralan. Ito marahil yung panahon kung kailan ko pinaka-ayaw ang tag-ulan pero ganoon talaga ang buhay. Malaking bahagi ng paaralan namin ang lumulubog sa baha kapag malakas ang ulan at isa yun sa naging problema naming mga mag-aaral noong unang taon dahil palipat-lipat kami ng kwarto sa bawat asignatura. Isa sa di ko malilimutang karanasan sa tag-ulan sa mataas na paaralan ay noong nagsuspinde ng klase dahil signal 3 sa probinsya kahit na walang ulan at maaliwalas ang panahon – sa makatuwid sayang ang pamasahe hehe.

Sa kolehiyo naman sa dormitory na ako tumira dahil malayo masyado ang Maynila sa aming probinsya. Sa dormitory ko naranasan ang mga pinakanakakatuwang karanasan tuwing tag-ulan. Ang mga unibersidad kasi may sariling batas tungkol sa pagsususpinde ng klase kapag bumabagyo, maliban na lang kung sabihin ng palasyo na walang pasok ay asahang mayroon. Natatandaan kong madami sa amin ang ayaw ng maagang klase (alas-siyete ng umaga) pero kapag tag-ulan, alas-kwatro pa lang gising na ang mga estudyante o kaya ay hindi na natutulog hindi dahil di pa natatapos ang takdang-aralin kundi dahil abot ang pagdadasal sa harap ng facebook at twitter na sana’y magdeklara ang chancellor o kaya ang palasyo na walang pasok. Nagkakasiya sa dormitoryo ang mga estudyante tuwing umuulan at walang pasok.

Pagkatapos ko sa kolehiyo at dumadating ang panahon ng tag-ulan, hinahanap-hanap ko ang mga nakakatuwang karanasan sa nakaraan tuwing tag-ulan.

Umuulan habang ako'y nasa daan.
Kuha mula sa bintana ng bus na aking sinasakyan pauwi sa probinsya.

The Beatles: A New Fave of Mine

Yes they are so popular to their fans (haha true for every artists with fans, I guess)! The Beatles, an English rock band, became a favorite of mine since last summer (summer 2012) of course by the influence of my father who is fond of watching old music in Youtube. I was even convinced to leave my lovely Walkman player at home and fill with the songs that they wanted - so to cut our electricity bill significantly (playing music on PC vs. on handheld player).
